4. Distributor Plate / Distributor Cone

Sits at rotor centre under feed eye ring.

Stationary feed pipe located at top centre.
  • Function: Guide raw material down into the rotating rotor assembly.

6. Feed Eye Ring

Rotating ring mounted on top of rotor.
  • Function: Receive material from stationary feed tube. Many operators can rotate this ring several times to extend service life before full replacement.

7. Trail Plates

Installed along rotor exit openings.
  • Function: Help build protective rock‑bed inside rotor, reduce direct metal‑to‑rock wear on rotor cast body. Available in wide / narrow styles.

8. Anvils / Cavity Wear Plates

Fixed liners inside the outer crushing housing.
  • Function: Receive high‑speed rock thrown out from rotor, complete rock‑on‑rock crushing; protect main machine housing.
  • Material: High‑chrome iron is standard for most VSI applications.

9. Surround / Hopper Liners

Chamber peripheral wear plates around crushing cavity.
Function: Protect main machine frame from impact and abrasion of rebounding rock.
