What are the Mill Liners
Mill liners are wear-resistant castings installed inside the mill shell, widely used in ball mills, SAG mills and rod mills for mining, cement and aggregate industries.
They have two main functions. First, they protect the mill cylinder from impact and abrasion caused by ore, rocks and grinding media (steel balls or steel rods). Second, their special profile lifts the grinding media to crush and grind raw materials.
Mill liners are consumable wear parts. Common materials include high manganese steel, high chromium cast iron and alloy steel. Different liner designs (shell liners, head liners) can be customized according to working conditions.
We provide matched mill liners for many well-known brands.
