RUBBLE MASTER (RM) is an Austrian manufacturer headquartered in Linz, founded in 1991 by Gerald Hanisch. The company pioneered the concept of on-site recycling of construction and demolition waste, creating an entirely new category of compact mobile crushers designed for urban environments and operators with little to no material processing experience.Today, RUBBLE MASTER is recognized as a leading global manufacturer of high-performance mobile crushing and screening equipment, with products deployed across more than 110 countries in recycling, demolition, quarrying, mining, and construction applications.
The RUBBLE MASTER product line has evolved from its first compact crusher, the RM50, through successive generations including the RM60, RM70, RM80, and the technologically advanced RM100, establishing the company as a frontrunner in integrated mobile crushing systems. What sets RUBBLE MASTER apart is its unwavering focus on compact design, low fuel consumption, remote-controlled operation, and ease of use — principles that continue to guide every new model the company releases.
Rubble Master Blow Bar Models
Blow bars (also called hammers) are the primary wear components in horizontal shaft impact crushers. They strike incoming material and throw it against the impact wall, fracturing it into smaller particles. Selecting the correct blow bar for each RM model and application is critical for maximizing wear life and minimizing cost per ton.–31

Material Options for Rubble Master Blow Bars
The metallurgical composition of a blow bar determines its performance in specific applications. We offer Rubble Master blow bars in six primary material configurations:
1. Manganese Steel
Manganese steel, often referred to as Hadfield steel, is known for its high toughness and work-hardening behavior. It is an excellent choice forhigh-impact applicationswith mixed feed, including demolition waste containing rebar, tramp metal, and large uncrushable pieces. Its toughness helps prevent breakage, although its abrasion resistance is lower than high chrome or ceramic-reinforced materials.
2. Manganese Steel + TiC
This material combines a manganese steel matrix with titanium carbide (TiC) particles. The manganese steel provides impact toughness, while the TiC hard phase improves wear resistance. It is ideal forhigh-impact and abrasive applications, such as demolition recycling and mixed construction waste, where both shock resistance and wear life are required.
3. Martensitic Steel
Martensitic steel offers a good balance of toughness and wear resistance. It is widely used inconcrete recycling and construction and demolition wasteapplications. Martensitic blow bars provide reliable performance in moderate abrasion conditions and are less brittle than high chrome alternatives.
4. Martensitic Steel + Ceramic
This configuration uses a martensitic steel body with embedded ceramic inserts. The ceramic inlays significantly improve abrasion resistance while the martensitic matrix maintains impact toughness. It is suitable forconcrete recycling, asphalt recycling, and abrasive construction waste, delivering longer wear life than standard martensitic steel.
5. High Chrome
High chrome blow bars are engineered for highly abrasive applications such asasphalt crushing and natural rock processing. The high chromium content delivers superior wear resistance, but the material is more brittle than manganese or martensitic steel. High chrome bars are best suited for controlled feed conditions where the risk of uncrushable contaminants is minimized.
6. High Chrome + Ceramic
This premium configuration combines the hardness of high chrome with the extended wear life of ceramic inserts. These bars are particularly effective insecondary and tertiary crushing, including asphalt processing and hard natural stone reduction. As with standard high chrome bars, feed size control and contaminant exclusion are recommended for optimal performance.
