This part is made of high-strength wear-resistant alloy steel to resist continuous strong impact and abrasion from stone, ore and sand. It has two mainstream structures in the market: fixed rotary lock type and bolt-on type, both designed for quick disassembly and replacement without taking down the whole rotor.

Common Feed Eye Ring Wear & Fault Causes
Accelerated wear: The feed tube shifts from center position, so stones strike one side of the eye ring repeatedly.
Crack or breakage: Stone blocks get stuck between feed tube and feed eye ring during feeding. Regular rotor cleaning can solve this problem.
Loose installation: Lock tabs or fixing bolts are not fully tightened during assembly. Copper washers must be used for bolt-type eye rings to prevent loosening.
Standard replacement rule: Replace the feed eye ring when the inner edge wear plate is only 3–5 mm thick.
