Jaw Plate

What are Jaw Plates?

A set of jaw plates consists of a movable (swing jaw) plate and a fixed (stationary) plate. Material is crushed through the compression process, where the movable jaw presses the feed material against the fixed jaw. The rock remains in the crushing chamber until it is reduced to a size small enough to escape through the bottom gap.

As the most frequently replaced wear parts in a jaw crusher, the quality of jaw plates directly determines crushing efficiency and overall operational uptime.

Manganese Jaw plate

Manganese Jaw Liner, Jaw plate exhibits distinct performance characteristics and application scopes.the manganese content increases (from MN13Cr2 to MN22Cr2), the overall strength and wear resistance

  • MN13Cr2:Applicability: Suitable for jaw liner subjected to moderate load requirements, particularly in cost-sensitive industrial applications.Application Scope: Commonly used in medium-wear levels of jaw crushers, ideal for scenarios requiring high wearing with moderate demands on durability and strength.
  • MN18Cr2:Performance Attributes: Offers enhanced wear resistance and strength compared to MN13Cr2.Applicability: Appropriate for jaw plate in moderate to high overload conditions, suitable for industries requiring increased durability and load-bearing capacity.
  • MN22Cr2:Performance Attributes: Features the highest wear resistance and strength among the three grades, designed for extreme overload scenarios.Application Scope: Primarily used in high-wear environments such as mining equipment or industrial applications with high abrasive loading requirements. Ideal for scenarios needing exceptional wear resistance and impact resistance.

Tic-Jaw-Plate

Titanium Carbide (TiC) Jaw Plates

Product Concept: TiC-embedded jaw plates utilize advanced composite technology to significantly extend wear part service life in high-load crushing applications. By dispersing titanium carbide particles within the base metal matrix, these plates deliver superior performance in demanding mining and aggregate operations.

Performance Benefits

  • 3-5x longer service life compared to standard manganese steel

  • Reduced downtime for component replacement

  • Improved crushing efficiency in hard rock applications

  • Proven results in European, Australian and African markets

These advanced jaw plates represent the optimal solution for operations seeking to maximize equipment uptime and reduce long-term operating costs.
