Jaw Crusher Parts
Jaw crushers are mainly used as primary crushers in mining, construction materials, infrastructure, and other sectors.
As the start of a high-productivity crushing line, using high-quality replacement parts is crucial to extending the jaw crusher’s service life and crushing effect.
The crushing happens between two high manganese plates, whether with or without “teeth” on it, which are called jaw plates or jaw dies;
- One is called the fixed jaw (stationary jaw), which is fixed vertically on the front wall of the machine frame.
- The other one is called the movable jaw (swing jaw), its position is inclined and fixed on the pitman (jawstock). It forms a crushing chamber with the fixed jaw, which is big at feeding and small at discharging.
Then, since the movable jaw periodically reciprocates against the fixed jaw, the material will be crushed by squeezing, bending, and splitting.
