What for?

Pinion and gear are the critical components in cone crushers, which convert rotational energy from the motor into the crushing motion of the cone (head).

The pinion, connected to the power source by the countershaft machinism, drives the gear attached to the eccentric machinism of the crusher, resulting in the crushing action as the cone edges close and open. The precision of the gear and pinion is vital for the smooth and efficient operation of cone crushers.
